Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 7, 2026

KnowStack AI is committed to making knowstackai.com usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML: proper landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), heading hierarchy, and lists.
  • Keyboard navigation: every interactive element — menus, search, theme toggle, FAQ accordions — is reachable and operable by keyboard.
  • Skip link: a "Skip to content" link lets keyboard users bypass the header.
  • Visible focus: a clear focus indicator appears on all interactive elements.
  • Reduced motion: we honor prefers-reduced-motion, disabling smooth scrolling and animations for users who request it.
  • Contrast: text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark themes.
  • Forms: every input has an associated label, and the search dialog can be closed with the Escape key.
  • Responsive design: content reflows cleanly up to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

  • Some older third-party embeds (if any are added in future) may not fully meet our standards — we review embeds before publishing.
  • Comparison tables can be wide on small screens; they scroll horizontally within a labeled container.

We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time checkbox, and we review new templates and components against these measures before they ship.
