Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

KnowStack AI ("we", "us", "our") operates knowstackai.com, a publication covering AI productivity tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

Information we collect

We collect as little as possible. Specifically:

  • Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter. Used solely to send you the newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
  • Preferences stored in your browser — your theme choice (light/dark mode) and your cookie-consent decision. These never leave your device.
  • Basic analytics — we use a privacy-respecting analytics setup to understand which articles are read. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. (Analytics provider to be finalized; this section will be updated with the provider's name and opt-out details.)

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or any sensitive personal data. We do not run user accounts or comments.

Affiliate links and third-party tracking

Some links on this site are affiliate links (see ourAffiliate Disclosure). When you click an affiliate link, the vendor or affiliate network may set cookies or use tracking parameters to attribute a resulting purchase to us. That tracking is governed by the vendor's own privacy policy, not ours. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any vendor you buy from.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and browser storage:

  • Strictly necessary: theme preference and cookie-consent choice (no consent required).
  • Analytics: only after you accept via our cookie banner (see below).
  • Third-party: affiliate vendors may set their own cookies when you follow outbound links.

You can change your cookie decision at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will re-show the consent banner.

Third-party services

  • Hosting: our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may log basic request data (IP address, user agent) for security purposes.
  • Email provider: newsletter delivery provider to be finalized; subscriber emails are stored with that provider under their privacy terms.
  • Affiliate networks: such as PartnerStack, Impact, and vendor-direct programs, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Data retention

Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, at which point they are removed from the active mailing list. Aggregated analytics data contains no personal identifiers. Browser-stored preferences persist until you clear them.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" of personal information —we do not sell personal information, period.

To exercise any of these rights, email us atprivacy@knowstackai.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when we connect an analytics or email provider). The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
